The face behind Moonwave - a woman-led studio helping creators amplify their voice through expert podcast and audiobook editing, music production, short-video editing, and more. Built from lived experience, Moonwave empowers women to be heard with clarity, confidence, and intention.
I began making music in middle school. There were men around me who knew audio production, but asking for help often left me feeling small, talked over, and underestimated.
So I did the most logical thing:
I taught myself everything I could at YouTube University..
Through college, music stayed my passion project — something I nurtured quietly alongside everything else. Then, at my first marketing job, my boss asked if I could help her start a podcast.
I paused for a moment then said, “Yeah. I actually have the skillset to do that.”
That moment changed everything. I realized I’d been sitting on a skillset I’d quietly mastered. Editing. Producing. Shaping sound. And yet I doubted it mattered. I questioned if anyone would take a woman in audio seriously.
What started as a personal escape became a professional path, and eventually, Moonwave.
Now I help others tell their stories with clarity, confidence, and ease, especially those who have felt unheard. I continue to fine-tune my skills through courses, mentorship, and collaboration.
Moonwave was born from a decision to stop waiting for permission.

I named my company Moonwave with deeply rooted intentions.
The moon symbolizes the intuitive, feminine, and unseen creative energy that guides every project I take on. The wave represents the fluid, powerful motion of sound, and my Caribbean roots.
Moonwave is more than just a service.
It’s a space where people — especially women — are empowered to feel truly heard in a world that too often overlooks them. Whether I’m editing a podcast, crafting a topline, or editing your Instagram reels, my goal is the same: to elevate your voice and help it resonate with clarity, emotion, and strength.
